The personal training industry has been booming for years as people try to find ways to stay fit, get healthy, and lose weight even as our work and home life activities involve more sitting than ever.
Still, personal training can be viewed as expensive and many people shy away from it, perhaps unsure of what they’ll get out of the experience, whether it’s worth the money, or maybe even feeling too out of shape to work with a trainer.
Do you value your body? Then invest in it. After-all, you get your car serviced and MOTd by a professional don’t you? You get your hair done by a certified stylist yes? (Men included lol).
However, there are so many things a Personal Trainer can do, almost anyone can benefit from hiring one.
There are a number of reasons people work with trainers. Some want an individualized program so they can lose weight or get in shape while others simply need to be held accountable for their workouts.
Wherever you are on your exercise journey, a personal trainer such as myself may be just what you need to take it to finally help you reach your fitness or weight goals.
In 2017 I was recognised by the industry as a national finalist for Gym Based Personal Trainer of the Year.
If you’re new to the gym experience, getting a personal trainer is a smart idea. I offer a free consultation and a session to help you get familiar with the machines, and more in-depth sessions can help perfect your form.
Having friend drama? I can be (and have been many times!) the perfect person to talk it out with while you’re bending, balancing, and lifting.
We all have areas we’d like to work on, and I can not only tell you realistically what to expect with each workout, but also how to optimize a session to target different muscle groups while with you and while you train alone.
Watching yourself while you work out can help you make sure your form is correct, but it’s even better when someone is there to tweak it while you work.
Just when you think you can’t go anymore, you’ll be told to “hold for another minute” or do “10 more reps.” And what do you do? You do it, and are all the better for it. Because lets face it, you probably would have just called it quits and reached for your phone.
This one can be important for me, especially when happy hour is calling my name. It’s much harder to justify blowing off an appointment with a personal trainer than just your own freestyling time at the gym.
I always have a new workout up my sleeve to keep you having fun and seeing results!
