Lowering Your Insulin Requirement

Type 1 diabetes, once known as juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes, is a chronic condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin. Insulin is a hormone needed to allow sugar (glucose) to enter cells to produce energy.

Insulin is released into the bloodstream to help shuttle carbs into the cells.  So it makes sense to reduce the need for insulin intake then you need to lower your carb intake right?  Yes.

A common health issue associated with Diabetes is weight gain.  My performance keto diet protocol is designed to make you feel better, look better, have improved health and also lower your dependency on insulin intake.

The Keto Performance Diet is a modern and scientific evolution of the old ‘Atkins Diet’ which essentially told you to eat as much fat (normally saturated) as you wanted, low protein and no carbs.  Because of this very non scientific approach it became unsustainable for most and resulted in poor increase in muscle density and simply caused ‘weight loss’ without any body composition improvements.

Fuelling The Body On Fat

Ketosis is a natural state for the body when it is almost completely fuelled by fat.  This is normal during fasting, or when on a strict low-carb diet, also called a keto diet. Ketosis has many potential benefits – related to rapid weight loss, health or performance.

My version centres on the increase of lean muscle mass and the decrease of water held within the body as well as fat loss.

The Keto Performance Diet is based on High Protein, Moderate Fat and Low / Zero carbs.

It’s designed for everyone because the benefits of this plan are needed by EVERYONE.

It’s especially beneficial for those who exercise regular.
